Support the Carbon-Free Palo Alto Energy Initiative

Because of its city-owned utilities, Palo Alto is in a unique position to become one of the first cities in the country to achieve carbon-free energy supplies.

The goal of Carbon Free Palo Alto is to reduce GHG emissions by 80% in the next 10 years.  This is an attainable and cost effective goal given that we have already achieved 100% carbon free electricity at competitive rates.

To achieve this goal, the City Council must approve policies that accelerate the move toward energy systems based on electricity.

But we need your help.

We’re building a list of people who support our initiative.  We’ll use this list to bolster our lobbying and educational activities with city government and the community.

Count me in as a supporter of carbon-free energy for Palo Alto.  Want to do more?  Be sure to indicate your interest on the sign up form, and we’ll be in touch.
